The Military Support Committee was established on April 3rd, 2007. The Committee was established to sustain and enhance the adoptive relationship between the City of Laguna Niguel, the USS McClusky the First Battalion, Fourth Marine Regiment and more recently, the USS Stockdale.
The Committee meets on the third Monday of each month at 12 Noon in Council Chamber (except in January and February when it meets on the fourth Monday of the month due to federal holidays). It currently consists of 20 members including two City Council Members who serve as Co-Chairs. The Committee also established several Ad-Hoc Committees, including Ex-Officio Members, to help carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Committee. Current Committee Members include:
